Melina is a spirit mentor, holistic coach, energy healer, therapist, and an energy-consciousness teacher. With an INSEAD MBA, an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), 15 years of corporate business experience, and a decade of in-depth exploration in energy-consciousness, she brings a truly unique formula into her courses. Combining cutting-edge science and research together with ancient wisdom, she pushes the boundaries of what reality is for each of her students and clients, helping them experience their energy-consciousness and uncover their innate abilities. She is passionate about empowering everyone to thrive holistically. Each of her courses provides practical application of the techniques used and individual follow-up is offered and included for all.
After having practiced for nearly 10 years in Geneva, Switzerland, Melina is currently available for sessions online via Zoom, Skype and BOTIM and starting in March 2020 in-person in Sedona, Arizona. She provides private sessions as well as workshops and courses on Body, Mind & Spirit development.

About Melina:
More than 25 years ago, Melina started her career in the banking world in Boston, Massachusetts in the US. She subsequently followed her desire to live and work in Europe, which prompted her move to The Netherlands and finally to Switzerland in 1997, after receiving at M.A. from SAIS at the Johns Hopkins University in Bologna, Italy and Washington, D.C. and an M.B.A. from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. From 1997 until 2006, she pursued a career in the financial industry in international business development, marketing and global project management for both Swiss and international financial institutions. After taking a break from the corporate world following the birth of her daughter Kalea, Melina qualified as a Reiki Master through training in Geneva, Switzerland and complemented this education with training in energy healing, body psychology and spirituality at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing Europe.
She founded a Body, Mind & Spirit focused wellness service Empowering People through Reiki, holistic life coaching and counseling and group workshops in Geneva, Switzerland and in the U.K. She provided Reiki energy healing and holistic life coaching at the Wellness Centre Holmes Place Geneva and taught Reiki workshops (levels 1-4) as well as courses on Body, Mind and Spirit self-development. She writes Meditations, one of which you can find in the Menu under Strawberry Hill, as well as some detailed information on Chakras.
In 2015 she created Cultivating Alpha, a holistic wellness service Dedicated to Well-being, through which she is integrating Brennan Healing Science into her practice and starting to expand the teachings and treatments that she is offering. In 2016, she started to invite international experts in energy-consciousness to hold workshops in Geneva, and she moved her practice in Geneva to l’Insitut de Médecine Naturelle, which is very conveniently located near Gare Cornavin.
In 2019 Melina was called to move and expand her practice to the US and is in the process of moving together with her husband, daughter, three Norwegian Forest cats, and one Coton de Tuléar dog from Geneva, Switzerland to Sedona, Arizona.
She will be available for sessions in-person in Sedona starting in March 2020.
Background and Philosophy of Brennan Healing Science®
The Barbara Brennan School of Healing is an international learning institution, founded in 1982 in the USA by Barbara Ann Brennan. Additional schools were open in Europe from 2003 to 2015 and Japan from 2006 to 2010. There have been more than 1000 students in some years, and now there are approximately 250 students participating in the program in the US. So far, more than 2,000 individuals from 49 countries worldwide have received their certificate as Brennan Healing Science Practitioner® (BHS Practitioner). Brennan Healing Science® (BHS) is based on the belief that human beings are multi-dimensional beings consisting of the physical body, the aura, hara, and core essence. BHS is a powerful and multi-faceted energy-healing technique which helps individuals to discover their true potential and eliminate obstacles. BHS promotes self-awareness, helps to improve quality of life, and is geared towards activating one’s individual self-healing power.
BHS was developed by the American physicist and therapist Barbara Ann Brennan, based on her lengthy studies of the human energy field. She combined her findings related to energetic processes with psycho-dynamics to demonstrate how the constantly changing human energy field affects the body. Barbara Ann Brennan used this knowledge to develop healing skills that have a positive effect on the human energy field. The so-called energy work consisting of psycho-spiritual aspects includes concepts and teachings of Bioenergetics (Alexander Lowen), Core-Energetics (John Pierrakos), and the Pathwork (Eva Pierrakos) in addition to other healing modalities. BHS can thus be described as body-oriented, psycho-spiritual, consciousness work.

Psoriasis Research Project in Geneva – Complementary Medicine
If you suffer from Psoriasis, you may participate in a research project intending to show how Brennan Healing Science can help people suffering from this autoimmune dis-ease.
Brennan Healing Science is a highly specialized, complementary healthcare modality based on an understanding of the Human Energy-Consciousness System and its relationship to health and well-being. Brennan Healing Science can be utilized as part of an integrated plan of care for individuals with acute/chronic disease and/or injuries, as well as psychological trauma/disease. It can also be extremely beneficial for individuals who wish to achieve a greater sense of well-being or who are on a path of personal self-development.
As a participant of this research project, you will be required to fill in some questionnaires and will receive free energy-healing treatments. This project is being done in conjunction with a sister project in Stockholm, Sweden.
